A day out.

Welcome to my new follower Jenette.

Yesterday we had a day out, our son managed to get free tickets for Countryfile Live.

We always enjoy watching Countryfile on the tv on a Sunday evening.

The presenters....

We saw Adam, Ellie, Anita, Tom and Matt.

The show was set in grounds of beautiful Blenheim Palace.

Anita filming for Countryfile.

Chef Brian Turner.

The favourite part of the day was seeing the Shire Horses.

There were thousands of stalls, but I am not bothered about shopping, I was happy just to go and see the animals.

  8. What a splendid show, Marlene! I love the heavy horses best, too! We once went to the Shire Horse Centre in Devon, but that's no longer there now, which is a shame. But what a glorious day out in such a beautiful setting.

    1. Yep another one we visited many a time when our son was small. We have always loved the shire and Suffolk punch.

  10. Looks like you had a fun day, but I confess that, although I enjoy such shows, I would have turned to visit the palace instead.

    1. Well we went there twice last year, you pay once and get an annual pass, our pass runs out in September so we are going back for a free visit to Blenheim Palace in a couple of weeks time.
